Switching Wet Wipe Manufacturers Shouldn't Feel Like Starting Over
Family-owned since 2012 · Milwaukee + Saukville, WI · FDA/EPA regulated products · 100% USA materials
Missed ship dates. Quality drift. A price increase with no explanation. Or a letter announcing your manufacturer is "consolidating operations." Whatever brought you here, you're not shopping for a wet wipe manufacturer, you're replacing one. That's a different job, and Rebel Converting, your wet wipe contract manufacturer, has built a process for it.
We're a family-owned wet wipe contract manufacturer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a meaningful share of our customers came to us exactly this way: mid-contract, under pressure, with product on shelf they couldn't afford to interrupt.
What a Production Transfer to Rebel Looks Like
1. Confidential technical review
Send us your specs under NDA - substrate, solution, fold, count, packaging format, regulatory status. Within days, not weeks, you'll know exactly what transfers as-is and what we'd flag. Because we run identical, customized equipment at both our Milwaukee and Saukville, WI plants, we can tell you quickly and honestly whether we're the right fit.
2. Formula and regulatory continuity
If your wipe is an FDA OTC product, an EPA-registered disinfectant, or a medical device, continuity is everything. Our in-house chemistry lab blends solutions from low to high pH, including antimicrobials, emulsions, and hazardous materials under CGMP standards, and our regulatory team has managed FDA and EPA protocols for years.Your formula stays yours. We don't hold customer chemistry hostage, and we'll put that in writing.
3. Pilot run and validation
Before you commit volume, we produce validation runs so you can test the product exactly as it will ship same substrate, same solution, same packaging. If you use our in-mold labeled canisters, digital printing means your samples are identical to final production, with no plate charges and no artwork lead times.
4. Ramp without the gap
Two Wisconsin facilities with redundant equipment mean we can absorb your volume without gambling your supply on a single line. Capacity to convert over 2 billion square yards annually, with every raw material sourced in the USA - no ocean freight surprises, no overseas quality black box.
Why Brands Transfer to Rebel Instead of Another Big Converter
You'll talk to the people making your wipes. Rebel is family-owned. When something needs to change, a formula tweak, a rush order, a packaging pivot you're not routed through an account team three time zones from the plant.
We do things your last manufacturer probably couldn't. Coreless rolls (we pretty much invented them), proprietary large-fold and hi-count converting that fits more sheet in the same canister, fill-your-own dry rolls if you'd rather keep chemistry in-house, and in-mold labeling with low minimum order requirements.
Second-source friendly.Plenty of our customers keep another manufacturer. Smart supply chains have redundancy, we'd rather be your reliable second source today than your regret next year.
Wisconsin, not a P.O. box. Both plants are here in southeastern Wisconsin, serving the Midwest and shipping nationwide. Come walk the floor before you sign anything. We encourage it.

Common Transfer Questions
How long does a typical transfer take? It depends on regulatory status and packaging complexity, but straightforward transfers of non-regulated wipes can move from first call to validation run in weeks. Regulated products take longer and we'll give you an honest timeline up front rather than an optimistic one.
Can you match my current product exactly? Usually, yes and sometimes we'll show you where it can be improved. Our lab reverse-engineers performance targets and our folding and converting flexibility often lets us match sheet count and hand-feel while reducing packaging cost.
What if I don't own my formula? It happens more than you'd think. Our formulation team can develop a comparable proprietary solution that youwillown hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, industrial, or specialty blends so this never happens to you again.
Do you require huge minimums? No. Low minimums are part of why growing brands transfer to us especially on in-mold labeled canisters and buckets, where traditional converters demand volumes only national brands can hit.
